New Necklaces, Just in Time for Pride Month

It’s almost Pride month, and with it, a whole plethora of fun events celebrating the 2SLGBTQ+ community. To honour that, I’ve made a bunch of Pride-themed pieces, now in my Etsy shop, including these two fabulous bib-style statement necklaces that I refer to as Caterpillars.

They’re lightweight, easy to clean and store and just might double as a low maintenance pet. Available in the traditional 6-colour rainbow flag version or the 5-stripe pastel Trans Pride flag.

Lots More Knots – New Work: Pride and Trans Flag Necklaces

I went a bit crazy making the knotted beads, but I wanted to have lots of fun, easy pieces available for Pride next month. I’ve got some bigger, more ostentatious pieces coming next week, but these ones are simple but effective and remind me a lot of the piece of Pride-themed flash fiction I wrote a couple of years ago.

Giveaway – Win This Necklace

To celebrate Pride, I’m giving away this one-of-a-kind choker featuring the original 8-colour flag by Gilbert Baker. (Did you know that the pink stripe was removed simply because they ran our of pink fabric one year?) While I have a bunch of 6-stripe flag and trans flag chokers in my Etsy shop, this is the only choker made with the original eight colours.
