I started this series with the Tiger Lilies piece, created as a birthday card for my Grandmother, who had gorgeous lilies growing in her garden when I was a child. These works are created in a tablet program called Paint Joy, using a feathery brush that acts very similar to a palette knife.
I’ve expanded past the variety of blooms my Grandmother grew in her yard, but I enjoy this process so much that I might not stop.
I’m working towards getting all of these works available on items in my shops on RedBubble and Society6 (the cushions and shower curtains are especially great), and a few of these pieces are available as fantastic clothing items from Le Galleriste.
Click on each artwork for a larger, uncropped image, and information on where to buy these blooms on functional housewares, prints or clothing.
